On June 29, Olympic table tennis champion Ma Long appeared at Beijing’s National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) with his wife Xia Lu to attend the third show of JJ Lin’s “JJ20 FINAL LAP” world tour. After the concert, Ma jokingly posted on social media: “My voice is hoarse again.” JJ Lin later replied in the comments: “Thank you for the big sing-along, Ma Long. Your Olympic spirit added something special to last night’s Bird’s Nest. No matter how tough it is, we’ve got to finish all three shows well!”

During the show, JJ Lin also acknowledged Ma Long’s presence on stage: “Today we have a very impressive athlete with us—Ma Long is here, thank you!” He went on to joke that with so many Olympic athletes attending over the past few days, it felt like they were holding the Olympics instead of a concert—drawing loud cheers from the audience.

The atmosphere at the concert was electric. Guest performer Zhang Yixing joined JJ Lin to sing songs like “Wings.” Ma Long entered the venue low-key, wearing casual clothes and a transparent raincoat. However, fans spotted him singing along throughout the show, swaying with the music, completely immersed. Some joked, “The director should’ve cut to Ma Long more often!”

In fact, Ma Long has been a longtime fan of JJ Lin. He has publicly expressed his love for songs like “If Only,” “River South,” and “A Thousand Years Later.” This marks at least the third time he’s attended JJ Lin’s concert, and just like in 2018, his passionate singing left his voice hoarse.
