Zhuhai Zero Boundary Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd., a chip-focused subsidiary under Gree Electric Appliances, has recently undergone a major leadership reshuffle. According to data from Tianyancha, Dong Mingzhu has officially stepped down from her roles as the legal representative and chairwoman of the company. Her position is now taken over by Li Shaobin. Meanwhile, Dong has transitioned to serve as a director and manager responsible for corporate affairs, while Tan Jianming has exited the board.
近日，格力电器旗下专注于芯片业务的珠海零边界集成电路有限公司迎来了高层人事调整。据天眼查数据显示，董明珠已正式卸任该公司的法定代表人及董事长职务，这一职位现由李绍斌接任。同时，董明珠的职务也转变为执行公司事务的董事、经理，而谭建明则退出了董事行列。
Li Shaobin, who assumed the role in April 2025, currently serves as Gree Electric’s newly appointed vice president. With rich experience in management, he has held key positions such as assistant to the minister in commercial air conditioning design and development, department minister, and assistant to the president. His in-depth understanding of Gree’s operations positions him well to lead the company’s chip ambitions forward.
李绍斌，作为格力电器的新晋副总裁，自2025年4月起担任此要职。他拥有丰富的管理经验，曾在商用空调设计与开发部门担任部长助理、部长以及总裁助理等职位，对格力电器的运营有着深入的了解。

The company’s core business spans R&D and sales of integrated circuits and semiconductor products. From custom design origins, it has evolved into a full-spectrum service provider integrating industrial-grade 32-bit MCUs, AIoT SoC chips, power devices, software solutions, systems applications, production quality, and market distribution. As of the end of 2022, it had shipped over 100 million chips cumulatively, with an annual average shipment of 36 million units—showcasing its robust market presence.

In recent years, Dong Mingzhu has frequently discussed Gree’s chip strategy in public. In March 2024, she revealed that Gree was building a SiC chip factory, slated for launch in June. The facility is expected to become the world’s second-largest and Asia’s largest fully automated compound semiconductor factory. By December, she proudly declared that the chip project had succeeded, highlighting Gree’s achievements in full-stack capabilities from R&D and design to manufacturing and integration—all without any government funding.
近年来，董明珠在多个公开场合提及格力在芯片领域的布局。2024年3月，她透露格力正在筹建一座SiC芯片工厂，预计当年6月投产，并有望成为全球第二大、亚洲最大的全自动化化合物芯片工厂。同年12月，董明珠在接受采访时自豪地表示，格力芯片项目已经取得了成功，从自主研发、自主设计到自主制造，再到全产业链的整合，格力已经完成了这一壮举。她特别强调，在芯片工厂的建设过程中，格力没有依赖国家的任何资金支持。
During a recent performance briefing, Gree’s board secretary Zhang Zhuhu elaborated on the company’s semiconductor progress. Since entering the chip industry in 2015, Gree’s first-phase production capacity has reached 240,000 units annually. Its chip portfolio includes power semiconductors and integrated circuits widely used in household air conditioners, with around 30% of its chips being self-developed. These chips have also been applied in commercial air conditioning, intelligent equipment, and industrial robots—enhancing Gree’s overall competitiveness.
